" The Nightingale and the Rose "
nightingale = privighetoare
thorn = spin
A nightingale heard a young man and a woman talking about the Prince's party. She said she would dance with him only if he would give her a red rose. The young man didn't find one . The nightingale felt sad and it wanted to help him. It didn't find one, too, but the third rose tree told it how to get one. That night, the nightingale sang while pressing its chest against one thorn of a white rose tree. In the morning, the young man found the desired rose in a bush of white roses. The nightingale was dead on the ground next to the bush.
