Present Simple

- adverbs of frequency are placed BEFORE the main verb and AFTER the verb ' to be ' 

Ex . Eric always plays football.

Sophia is always cold. 

Nicole goes to drawing classes every Saturday . 

AFFIRMATIVE

S ( he , she ,it ) + V+s/ es 

Ex . We have English tutorials every Tuesday mornings.

Maria always does her homework . 

We add - ES to the verb in the third person singular when the verb finishes in : 

-ss; we kiss- he kisses 

- sh ; they wash - she washes 

- ch ; you watch - it watches 

-x ; we fix - he fixes 

-o ; they go - she goes 

NEGATIVE

S + do not + V1 

S ( he, she , it ) + does not + V1 

Ex . We don't  have English tutorials every Tuesday mornings.

Maria doesn't always do her homework . 

INTERROGATIVE 

Do + S + V1 ?
