Past Simple   We didn’t hit the basketball.	The basketball wasn’t hit by us.
Past Continuous   They were preparing breakfast when I entered.	When I entered breakfast was being prepared by them .
Present Perfect   The tourists have already seen the Eiffel Tower.	The Eiffel Tower has been already seen by the tourists .
